Each league (National and American) sends a team to play in this tournament. The first round is for the District IV title, with the District winner advancing to the State tournament in McIntyre beginning on July 19, 2007. The District IV Majors Baseball tournament will begin on or around July 4th and will last about two weeks. The winner of the State Tournament advances to the Southern Region tournament in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the winner of the Southern Region advances to the Little League World Series, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, August 17-26.

The Major League All-Star teams in each league are selected by the players in that League (first 5 selections), the Major League managers in that League (up to 7 selections) and the Manager of the All-Star team (up to 2 selections). Any player age 11 or 12 playing in Majors is eligible for this team. The McLean Major League All-Stars have won the District IV tournament in 1973 ( AL), 1978 ( AL), 1981 ( AL), 1989 ( AL), and 2004 (AL). In 1981, the McLean American League Majors All-Stars won the Virginia State Tournament and advanced to the Southern Region Tournament.

The players are selected by the All-Star manager and his/her coaches, after consultation with other managers. The District tournament for 10-11 Baseball begins in late June and runs for about 10 days. The McLean 10-11 All-Stars won the District IV tournament in 2004 ( AL).

All 9 and 10 year olds are eligible, regardless of whether they play at the Major League, AAA or AA level. Historically, these players selected to these teams have typically played AAA or Majors during the regular season. The players are selected by the All-Star manager and his/her coaches, after consultation with other managers. The District tournament for 9/10 baseball begins in late June and runs for about 10 days. The McLean 9-10 All-Stars won the District tournament in 2002 ( AL) and 2003 ( AL).

The AAA Baseball Regular Season champions (the American League and National League teams having the best regular season record) will compete in this tournament. The dates are June 18-24. McLean has won this tournament in 1997 (NL), 1998 (NL), 1999 (NL), 2001 ( AL), 2002 ( AL), and 2003 ( AL). For bracket information click here.
